Studio Tier Definitions

Based on daily attendance (footsteps) only. Membership is not a factor in tier placement.

Cohorts determine which intervention applies first. MatFresher is never the only action.

No Foundation

Criteria: No Studio Coordinator AND daily attendance below 75. All 11 are Tier 5.

Next Step: B - Hire Studio Coordinator

Staffed But Struggling

Criteria: Does not meet High Volume, Overdue for Relief, or Staffing Model Mismatch thresholds. Largest cohort (123 studios) - 20 lack an SC.

Next Step: B (if no SC) / D - Expand SET Hours / C - Adjust Wages

High Volume

Criteria: Has SC + SET count at or above 20 + daily attendance at or above 200. All 46 have SC.

Next Step: D - Expand SET Hours (investment, not remediation)

Overdue for Relief

Criteria: Daily attendance at or above 180 AND SET count below 15. 8 of 18 also lack an SC.

Next Step: B (if no SC) then E - Hire Additional Cleaners/FD Associates

Staffing Model Mismatch

Criteria: Has SC + SET count below 12, regardless of attendance. All 23 have SC. Most are Tier 4-5.

Next Step: C - Change SET Wages / D - Restructure SET Shift Hours
